Damn! £20 to replace a tiny CG125 carb washer!

Whilse restoring my CG125 (changing the throttle cable at this particular moment), i managed to lose/drop a small washer through the cracks in the floorboard - it's 1 of the 3 pieces that make up the "jet needle assembly" (i'll attach an image from my Haynes - it's item 6 - the one in the middle). It's at the top of the carburettor anyway.

Unfortunately, yep, it only comes as a set. For £20. Not even NRP Carbs can help me (they don't do the bits for my CG apparently). I guess the needle itself looks a little worn, but that feels more like me telling myself i'm not completely chucking the £20, when inside i know that i am.

So do i just bite the bullet and take (yet another) £20 hole in my side, or does anyone know where i could get this tiny washer from?

Most of that money is for the needle. The washer will have an internal diameter in millimeters, e.g 3mm, that would mean you would need an M3 washer. Go to a hardware store and take the other bits with you and see how which fits best. I needed some M3 washers fro my carbs once, the guy at the hardware store just gave them to me!

Its not a washer, its a "C" clip, go to a bike breakers or if they wont help you a fastener supplier, take the needle with you and the can measure the size required.

i bought a box of assorted c-clips for this very purpose.
think it was from machinemart or screwfix or somewhere similar.
was only about 6 quid,iirc.
had the tiniest clips that fit onto dellorto needles & also onto mikuni needles & had some smaller, so im pretty sure you'd get one to fit.
have a look around for a box of assorted c-clips,
