Insurance too cheap?!

Hey guys, i just got a list of online quotes at "https://quotes.thebikeinsurer.co.uk" this site... with the exact information ill be using in a years time... it seems ill be able to insure my 20 year old honda cg125 for £120 near as damnit, this is when im SEVENTEEN! can this actually be possible?! Apparently from a company called Devitt so, anyone hear of these guys etc? It just seems so unbelievably cheap...

Yup. Bike insurance is dirt cheap compared to car insurance.

I insured myself ona £1.8k Hornet 600 '98 at 17 for £500. Others have had cheaper.

cg insurance for me is £300 for just tpo,insurance on the fazer is £900,CHR15 pays half that for his and only lives down the road

If you ever *ever* *EVER* consider getting a quote from the bike insurer... make sure you include a typo in your phone number. Mrs angryjonny was getting calls from every insurance company under the sun for weeks after using that site.

1991 gsxr750 slingshot was insured by my fine self for a grand total of £148 fully comp. I thought that was a bargain considdering I had just passed my DAS course a week or 2 beforehand.

£400 for a 16 year old on a geared 50 valued at £2000, fully comp

£500 TPFT for a 17 year old on a Hornet 600 at £2000.

Bike insurance is cheap, one of the reasons so many people are getting on it.

Well I guess the age/model/are has brought it down... oh yeah I can see how that might look a little weird ;D sorry... just thought id give the names etc in case someone said "ahh that site is just shit/sos the company".... you get the idea.

This is such a nice surprise though, looking at not having to borrow any money off my brother to get everything sorted in a years time, man that's good to know! incidentally, any particularly well known cheap bike helmet stores (as close to £40 as possible).
