Exhaust Bargain

Have been looking for cans since I got the bike to pop up cheap online and never seen any aftermarket cans for sale.

Found these the other day though and managed to get them for £35 + £10 p&p.

Gives them a nice deep note and apparently a bit of gain in power.

Question is, do I need to rejet?

I have a 625 SMC with twin standard modified exhausts and they are LOUD.

If your bike is still standard jetting then yes you better rejet, they are lean when new and putting those exhausts on will make it leaner.

Mines fully standard and hasn't been messed with so could you recommend what they would need rejetting to?

Where do I get the jets?

Looking forward to waking all the neighbours up! The standard cans are so tame for the bike.

I've got the FCR41 in my SMC and I think it is a Mikuni BST in your duke II. You would need to find out what main jet is in there standard, should tell you in your KTM manual and maybe get it a size or 2 bigger.

Just take your airbox lid off, fit those new exhausts and buy some larger main jets from KTM or ebay.
