I use Fly knee armour for green laning. It's hard, but has soft stuff on the other side for comfort. May be worth a look.... ____________________ My Flickr |

I can't even get kit to fit me correctly, so my knee pads on my textile trousers ride up my thighs when I'm riding...so totally pointless, and my leathers, well, I'm old skool, so I just have leather jeans without any protection.
But in saying that, they've faired pretty well in all accidents I have had. Still in one piece. Ancient though they are. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Ah, so the generic one size fits all of knee armour really isn't true.
I checked out the bike shop yesterday. One pair of Knox on knee pads made for a big bloke! Could get both knees in one and I don't think that would improve my riding. ____________________ Pootling rules!

I'd suggest trying a bike shop that is more MX/Offroad biased, as offroad armour tends to be available in varying sizes. I am OK with the armour inside my textiles and leathers, but I bought kids armour for trail riding. MX is aimed at all ages, so you may find that they have youth stuff that is likely to fit you better.
