well luckily your okay amd not stuck to the tyres of a lorry.
Croydon can be hectic man, i came down in the rain when coming round the Big roundabout under the Croydon Flyover. Went tumbling. main things are:
when your cornering in the wet, no speed change. You make sure your at the correct speed when you enter the turn.
If you do need to accelerate, make sure you slip the clutch to make sure she accelerated smoothly rather than jolts forward.
If you need to slow down, use the brakes oh so gently.
Finally, try not to lean so much in the wet, because a soggy leaf, diesel spill, drain pipe, crisp packet, someone's dog, could all send your back wheel sliding out and you with your face in the tarmac! |

Congrats on surviving your first off. Shame the bike hasnt faired too well but at least the parts for the YBR are cheap enough to get a hold of.
Important lesson learnt about riding in the wet. Take it on board and next time take it easy in the wet. Rushing to get home because you are soaked is a recipe for disaster. Personally I'd rather arrive home soaking wet and alive than a little wet and dead ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master
