I dropped my ER on the drive. I tried turning it around but didn't want to knock my mirror with my arm, then it went a little too far the other way and went down, pulled me over the bike and I head butted the floor
It had been dropped on that side by the previous owner though, so there was no new damage.
Was awkward to pick up though as my drive consists of mud and gravel, makes backing it up when sat on the bike a pain in the arse as well. |

Not sure how much the Er6 unfaired weighs, but when my ex dropped hers - after a few days of owning it, i copped it one.
Walked back towards the bike F'ing and blinding, lifted it with such force it almost went over the other side
Im guessing it all depends how much adrenalin you have at the time |

I forgot to mention... I had barefeet! that's why it went over, that's also why i couldn't pick it up very easily, i've taken all the skin off the ball of both of my feet
To be fair, it had fail written all over it.

Bunch o' jessies Picked up both my bandit and cbr600 with no trouble, think I summoned up extra strength out of sheer embarrassment though as I dropped them both right outside work |

Its a simple equation of:
Successful lift = technique + adrenaline + embarrassment x rage
I picked up my CBR three times on the first go, another crashed CBR when a woman came off in front of me and a ZX6R when my mates got knocked over. I was only about 11st at the time and it was always far easier than expected!
Never had to get my mum to help ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

None of you have experienced the 'suicide stand' on a ST2. Now i've altered the ride height it is even more suicidal.
Imagine a sidestand that is spingloaded like a mutha, yet shaped like a supermodels high heel. Now attach that to the engine.
So far i have been butch and kept that bitch sorted. But she will get me one day. ____________________ Diabolical homemade music Bandcamp and Soundcloud

Pansies!
Had to lift the tourer a few times. Once when the side stand sank into the ground
Specification says dry weight 288 kg (635 lb) so add on a bit for a full fuel tank, oil, full panniers, etc. and it'll be close to 300kg.
Easy peasy if you know the right technique. Do a google if you want. IIRC there's also some YouTube bits of girls lifting BMW tourers to prove how easy it is.
A bit back had to help lift a 600 sports thingy from the side of the road (rider had converted forward motion into horizontal at a roundabout ) and was surprised how easy they are to lift. No wonder plenty go walkies into vans if not tied down.

Been in the unfortunate position of having to lift the Bandit a few times in the last couple of months... Thankfully the worst of the damage was just a small scratch on one of the bar ends.
It's not the lightest of bikes (certainly noticeably heavier than the GPZ) but I've still had enough pies to be able to give it a good weight match ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
