Im trying to buy insurense but im not sure what extras are worth the money?
Legal assistance for £20 per year.
Helmet and leathers insurance for £30 per year. (I have textiles will they still be covered?)
Personal accident cover for £20 per year.

Are they worth the money or should i just go for basic TPFT?

Personally dude I wouldn't bother with it.

I got stung by them when I wanted to remove them: You can't.
They tend to be extra products and after the grace period (mine was 14 days) you cannot remove them.

In all fairness though, my gear isn't that expensive, I think Benson_JV on here spent more on his gear than I paid for my bike...

They are essentially a scam mate.

If you have a no fault accident, you should get in contact with a no win no fee solicitor who will gladly claim on your behalf for injuries, loss of earnings, equipment and any other losses you incurred as a result. They will not charge you if they think they will be able to take the claim on.

In fact when I had a big off and broke my arm, my insurance company put me on to the solicitor without even asking me ( and without me buying any additions to my premium). Thumbs Up

I always get legal cover. There are certain circumstances that it could be very handy. Peace of mind.

I once got rear ended in my car.... Broker passed the case onto the legal co....
I questioned as to why it went to a legal co as I was FC and there should have been no need
Interesting as it turned out as it was run by the guys son. Staff at broker let that gem slip.... The Ins co were not impressed either when I contacted them for a update, and not the legal co.....
Last time I ever used that company for insurance.

No win no fee, cover's any situation that may crop up. Karma

I did indeed, hence why I shall be taking out helmet & leather care on my policy! I would if you have expensive gear.

I tend to go for LC and PA ... but with my experience of solicitors (and so-called "accident management" companies) over the last EIGHTEEN MONTHS trying to get a simple roundabout prang dealt with, I may go the NWNF 3rd party lawyer route in future. Even if they are ambulance chasers.

Will probably keep the accident cover though. I know it won't cover much, and they'll try every loophole to screw me out of it, but it's cheaper than bupa and directly covers road accident type injury/death.

Helmet/leathers ... CBA... so far the damage that's likely to be done to my helmet is (demonstrably) by me being a clumsy arse, and all my gear (save helmet and gloves) came from ebay for less than what the excess would probably be.
