whichever fit you best.
go to some shops and try some on. they should feel slightly restricting at first. tight but not uncomfortably tight so that they cut off your circulation
leathers that fit you tightly will offer the best protection. heard of people using 2nd hand leathers and cheap leathers (like mine) and coming off and silly speeds and being completely unharmed.

What kind of riding are you looking to do? If your looking to do a lot of long distance trips, touring leathers tend to be a bit more comfortable.

Its also worth considering waterproof leathers if you are looking to do all-weather riding. My leathers are waterproof touring ones from Hein Gericke. They were relatively expensive, but are the type to last me for years. However, if you want the race look and money isn't really an issue then the alpinestars are quite good, and I do like the Dianese ones too. But these are expensive.

Remember, looks and tartiness will cost you money, safety and good wear do not have to cost you an arm and a leg (leathers are supposed to save them Wink

Personally I think both Alpinestars and Dianese are overpriced for what they are.

A* is like iPod, overpriced and mediocre but well marketed. Try Arlen Ness, Berik and even the Hein Gericke own branded stuff seems ok for better value/more for your money.

For sports leathers, Hein Gericke seem to be the best value for money. Sure, they don't look as tarty as Alpinestars or Dianese, but they last well, they crash well, they have excellent armour and they aren't too expensive.
