Im trying to find an idle screw for a Mikuni VM22 carb...its proving difficult and every site I get linked to is rubbish Laughing

Even ebay has declined my offer of money for screw!

Anyone know of a good source for carb parts?

what bike is it for?

I have found that this webiste is often very useful for things like that:

Phone them, they are much more helpful when you call them.

Another vote for Allens. They had a choke for my YSR50 in stock and were happy to measure up a couple of possible alternatives to double check when I got there.

Gaz, mikuni vm22 idle screw. May be the same as other mikuni ones. If you don't mind, maybe send them all (idle screws, not whole carb lol) i'll return the ones that don't fit and reimburse your postage and pay you for the one that works and if none fit send all back, reinburse postage and keep looking Smile

I can't make anything like that, it's like a 6mm wide hole with a 0.75mm thread pitch, about 40mm long with a tapered end.

I wouldn't know where to start!

Paddy, Allens performance are good, just give them a chance. If they forget to call you back just call them yourself.

The thing with motorcycle businesses like this is they are shit at business, and they only stay in business because they do a good job and people are willing to make the effort.
