 |

Okay so as some of you may know I have basically rebuilt my bike apart from the gearbox and crankshaft.
My clutch is a bit knackered. The plates were gone so we replaced these but only the friction plates. I couldn't find standard springs anywhere so I decided not to get them. By the looks of the plates that were actually in there it is the first change this bike has had and is at 8850 miles. Have tried buying new cables but everyone I seem to get is too short :/ I have also bought two throttle cables now but they are the same so if I can drive my bike to a shop I could ask for a new one "For this bike".
My question is does anyone know where I can get standard springs for my bike as all I can find are race ones. And I imagine the race ones wouldn't be correct as they are meant for 70 and 80cc bore kits.
Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated (I may be wrong, it might not even be the springs)

So it won't actually change the performance of the clutch, only it will make it tighter then? I cant buy springs on their own but only with a clutch kit so with plates aswell how will it be?
Probably looking at the polini as it has presssure and friction plates. Will ring up a garage to see if he can get me some springs first though.
Thanks gents ____________________ Rusty '02 Vito Camper + CBR600F3 |

And also, what makes me think its not the lever/cable whatever is that when we took all of the clutch cable and lever (on the actual spline) off, it still had the same effect.
Really, any ideas as I am on the road on three weeks friday ____________________ Rusty '02 Vito Camper + CBR600F3 |
