upjetting is a MUST, when adding the pv, as your changing the bike from 15bhp to around 23bhp.(you will gain the remaining 5bhp or so when you remove the cat)
its all in the official aprilia guide, which is available for download,
though your not going to be fully de-restricting it, as to complete the process you will have to change the expansion chamber for one without a cat.
have a look over on 125cc sportsbikes, as i uploaded the guide in the stickies.(if you cant get access to it, pm me as i have it on cd somewhere)
quite why you would want to go through the hassle of fitting the pv without upgrading the exhaust is beyond me, as it will probably be just a case of trial & error & the vhst carb is a bit of an unknown quantity. (as compared to the phbh which has been around for years & pretty much every combination of jets has already been tried)
iirc, others have done the same thing, when doing the de-restriction bit by bit (due to financial rerasons for example)
cheers,

Yep! CDI needs attention
Exhaust needs attention
Rav Valve and solenoid actuator needs fitting
Carb needs upjetting and mixture screws adjusting.
De-restriction guide for the Euro 3 here.
https://tuul.tl//10722551.pdf
11 KW 132 JET
FULL-POWER JET 185
MIN. JETU3
FULL POWER S45
THROTTLE VALVE 45
FULL POWER 50
MIXTURE SCREW 1-3/4
FULL POWER 2-1/4
To ensure correct operation of
engine, idle should be set to 1200 rpm with engine warm, after accelerating two or three times up to 3000 rpm

ignore the above info, as this is only for FULL de-restriction.
try running with 185 main jet & with the restrictive oem catted exhaust, & it will run like a bag of spanners.(been tryed many time before)
cheers,

Yep, to de-restrict an RS you need to follow the PDF guide.
Personally I would fit the PV soleoid actuator, sort the exhaust out(This is a cut and weldjob ), or buy an Arrows exhaust, sort the CDI out then give the carburettor to a mechanic to up-jet properly, even right down the jet sizes and and screw setting on a piece of paper and hand it in.
When fitted and all back together you may just have to adjust idle speed which is really easy. 100MPH

Another way:
More expensive:
Buy a dellorto 34mm carb
powervavle & solenoid
Buy Arrow arrow pipe
pippercross air filter
You acn even buy the some racing reeds! ____________________ In Greek mythology Ichor is what immortals have in the place of blood
