Road != Race track. That's not just someone being a kill joy safety Nazi, there are some big differences, that crash barrier with it's leg mangling supports being 1, the pretty view being a distraction is another, the quality of the surface yet another.

It look shot there, chances are a tight corner like that has had fuel or oil spilled on it countless times and not been washed away by rain. I think the corner is tighter than it looks and probably comes after a nice flowing section and catches people out, just like in the 1st video. That guy clearly doesn't lean cause he think's he's going too fast to make it round. He gets in the brakes, then the bike doesn't want to turn. That's fair enough too a point, but i think most others would see the barrier and dirt coming up, get off the brakes and tip it into the corner even if we were still going too fast. That guy however could have gone faster round there on a milk float Laughing

I bet 99% of these could be avoided if they knew about survival reactions as explained by keith code

1. Rolling off the gas
2. Tightening on the bars
3. Narrowed and frantically hunting field of view
4. Fixed attention (on something)
5. Steering in the direction of the fixed attention
6. No steering (frozen) or inneffective (not quick enough or too early) steeering
7. Braking errors (both over and under braking).

The chap must be new to riding he was in the wrong position for that bend the rider behind was correct well over to the right with a later apex.
Those triumphs are good in tight bends and it would have made it but the rider couldn't.
Well I hope he learnt from it and i.m glad he's ok.
