 |
|
I started riding in April 2010 (age 32) and bought a brand new 10 plate Honda CBF125 as this seemed a sensible way into biking. It lasted me well through the summer and autumn although I was outgrowing it and getting frustrated with it's limited power (which when I first bought it I was in awe of lol)
Anyway was going to do the DAS at the end of autumn but never got round to it and sold the CBF as I am planning to take the DAS in spring, ready for a 600 for summer
However, what I thought would be an easy few months without a bike hasn't been and I realised the bike bug had bitten... hard. Therefore I found myself a faster 125 so I can still ride about on L plates (rear to be fitted) but have more power and get used to a racing seating postion (as opposed to the sit up CBF). I've only been out on her a couple of times what with all the snow and bad weather however I'm very much liking the new powerband concept... as soon as I hit 6,000rpm it goes... and the fat rear tyre, lot less movement over ruts etc. great fun and a lovely two stroke.
Ride safe |

Skudd:- Perhaps she just thinks you are a window licker and is being nice just in case she becomes another Jill Dando.
WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |

I'll go out on it in any weather (except snow), gives me a chance to practice different riding conditions and a chance to clean it afterwards not sure I believe in motorbike seasons i.e. put it in a garage for 3 months, as long as you pick the right day and wear the right stuff, why not take 'em out? Also feels a lot more stable in wet than CBF... tyres were too skinny for my liking... |
