anybody know if a Derbi GPR engine will fit a 2003 Derbi Senda?

It's a similar engine yes... The same... No.

Just a couple of things you'll find..

Firstly the GPR engine will have an electric starter fitted, your senda won't.. Leave it fitted just unwired as it blocks a hole in the crankcase and will stop debris getting in there.

So as your not using the GPRs electric start, you'll need to swap over the sendas RH engine case, and kickstart mechanism as the GPR doesn't have them fitted.

When the case is off, you'll notice the GPR has an internal balance shaft fitted, that's timed off the clutch basket... Where as the senda doesn't. If you end up struggling with the kickstart shaft spring and remove the clutch basket for more room, make sure you line the dots up correctly on the parts to keep the timing right.

It's all straight forward to do.
