hello,
well i have a moped, a speedfight2, and SOMETIMES when i start it, and rev it it sounds like it misses revs. i hold down the throttle and it splutters and sounds like i keep reving from low to high but im not, and usually if i ride it for a little while it seems to go away, and becomes normal again.. any ideas?

A 2 stroke needs to warm up to carburate properly, once warm the misfire goes. Wont do it any good caning it when its cold.

Is this a recent thing or has it always happened?

If its because the engine is cold then start the bike, leave it for a few minutes and when you take it out be gentile with it untill its up to temp (a couple of miles).
Once warmed up it should be fine.

As it is a 2 stroke, caning it when its cold will shorten the engines life considerably...

Luckily my NSR just dosnt have much pull above 6,000rpm untill its warmed up.
