My speedo needle is no longer spinning around went out for a hack half way through it jsut went to 0 now wont move even at redline in 6th what could be wrong gents? the cable?

heh...I have the same problem! ...except that I probably cause it, 'cos I took it apart in the first place
Anyhoo, to check your speedo cable, simply unplug it from your clocks, and then watch the end of the cable whilst moving your bike forwards/backwards. If the cable is ok, then the cable should rotate.
Alternatively, you can just go a ride, and keep an eye on your Odo/tripmeter. ____________________ TiN

check the wheel end chaps, if the cable is intact possible cause is the drive tab has broken off in the hub, if so, hmmmm problem. Need hub drive,
