For some reason the Castrol scheme doesnt look as good on a Firestorm.

https://www.betablocker.co.uk/gallery/files/1/Honda_VTR1000_Castrol_2.jpg

Although I can see one a lot like Blackies working on the storm.

Who wants to fund me while I turn the storm into a Castrol?

Result! Thumbs Up I've around £15 in change in a jar. Might have the new paint in a few years at this rate.

Look out for pics in the project forum. "tesco bike painting, every little helps"

What they done to the front??

It's got a very tidy mid/rear end but forward of the forks... Neutral way too rounded imo.

does look a bit like a fist, but i suppose that in conjunction with the riders lid etc it works out to be the best for aerodynamics

The non race versions look like angry teddy bears, the race version has had to try and copy that look but without lights. The road version looks far to lazy for my liking, I prefer the wasp eyes found on the R1.

I was there! It's a great looking bike and so good to have Castrol-Honda back on track.

I briefly met Rea and Steve Parrish, brushed past Xaus and Ronald Ten Kate and gave the bike a good hard looking at.

I always thought that scheme looked a bit... crap "back in the day". Time has not been kind to it... Laughing

(By crap I mean: disjointed, a sploge of colours with no cohesion)
