 |
|
Hello all my name is Andrew and i come from cornwall im not new to bikes how ever do not know what 125 i should get, I have untill 26th of August 2 pick what bike I wont because that will be when i can get a 125 . I have an Aprilia rs 50cc 07 and from the begin i wanted a aprilia 125 06 or later (reason, its faster ) But then after school one time i went to a Yamaha dealer and got to see the 2009 Yamaha YZF-R125 and fell in love with it looked it up and was loving it! but then my bro in law was talking about the cativcagiva mito and nw i dont know I now don`t mind the speed as long as it can do 80mph im happy.
Things i just want my 125 to able to do/be.
I don`t want to do alot of work on it.e.g. 2 stroke and things like i have had to do with my aprilia, i just want a nice sounding reliable bike (for once)
Thanks Andrew |

Bike that can do 80, sound nice and is reliable? well the r125 doesn't hit 80, unless down hill it also doesn't sound nice. Then the mito and rs125, both wont be particularly reliable, will be able to do 80 and don't sound that nice.
If I were you I would get something cheap and reliable and use is to get through your test. CG125 would be perfect ____________________ Bikes Past: Yamaha Aerox (sold) Yamaha R125 (written off)

Listen to pinky on this one. It is a waste of money, I was exactly the same too when I was turning 17 wanted a sporty looking bike so got my self a YZF125 three weeks later I crashed it and ended up spending 4 months on a YBR. At first I thought it was awful, after a few weeks I started to enjoy my self. I then realised what a mistake it was to buy the r125 and should have got a ybr/cg in the first place. Gained all my confidence on the YBR and done my test. It is the right way to go
Oh and no the r125 won't really do 80 I had 76 out of mine on the flat down hill I got a 84 on the speedo ____________________ Bikes Past: Yamaha Aerox (sold) Yamaha R125 (written off)

as above really, if your into your bikes, save some moneys and do your test, get a real bike
if your intent on buying a 125... id vote on a CG, or if you really want a sporty look the YZF-125. a lot of other "sport" 125's will just fall apart to be honest.
for the price of a 125 it makes much more financial sence to get a big bike ____________________ KLX 300r |

No 125 has what you're looking for. Pass your test. An R125 doesn't even look fast... not with big dirty L's on it. It's just embarrassing.
Go for a 4t commuter, pass your test and move away from the school playground "my 50cc will do 70mph" shit. It just makes people look stupid. ____________________ 57 Huoniao HN125-8 - , 97 Kawasaki GPZ500S -

Since you've already got the 50cc then spend time practicing for your test. Book your test through a training school with the money you would spend on the 125cc bike and pass on one of their bikes. Then you can sell the 50cc and buy a bigger bike.
No point spending the guts of a grand on a 125 and the hassle of insuring etc. When you can just rent a training schools one for 100 quid to do the test on. ____________________ illuminateTHEmind wrote: I am just more evolved than most of you guys... this allows me to pick of things quickly which would have normally taken the common man years to master

If you're serious about something fast (or even something that'll keep up with traffic), get a full license. If you're determined on a 125, give up on trying to get something fast. Get something 4t and reliable. ____________________ 57 Huoniao HN125-8 - , 97 Kawasaki GPZ500S -
