Throttle twist stuck.

The throttle twist grip (right hand grip) is stuck you can still twist the grip but it stays there,it does not go back to its place.
also when turning the motorcycle on it accelerates by it self.

the bike is GILERA DNA 50.

You need to check the routing of the throttle cable.

If your bike has two throttle cables, one could be broken.

If not, then as above check the routing and check the return spring mechanism that places tension on the throttle to make it close.

Had the exact same problem with my GPZ.
The clip retaining the end of the return cable was damaged

Pros - Cruise control, auto choke when on sidestand.

Cons - Will fail MOT. Not as safe as a loose grip.

Yeh you can.

It will either be the cable is caught somewhere, maybe worn through or the rubber of the grip is rubbing on the switchgear.
