Honda SP-1 LCD

My LCD has stopped working and wondered if anyone knew if it had a reset of some kind ?
Its been working fine but shes been sat for a while so i decided to charge the battery overnight.
Today i turned the key and at first the display came on but the FI and Fuel light stayed on after i started the engine and the lcd was messed up.
Turned her off and tried again this time the display didnt even go through its usual startup routine.
Ive tried disconnecting the battery but didnt make any difference.

Any ideas ?

my cbr used to do that.

It was a bad connection on the plug at the back of the clocks so it's worth checking that.

Have you tried giving it a technical tap yet? that used to get mine going temporarily sometimes.

Moisture of something hasn't kept into the connectors as the back of the clocks has it?

Give it a dose of WD40.

Since when did you get an SP1!

yep ive tried wiggling it and tapping but no good

the neutral light and that work fine and the backlight is ok but no lcd or FI or fuel warning light.

i'll pm blackwolf and see if he has ever had this in his.

I got the SP last year only ridden her a few times.....scary as hell
