about the parts , you can exchange engine spares but not the RC/valves system including the controlers
to be sure about the electronics you should do first :
- unplug the servo-motor
- with multipliers catch the pulley and turn it as far as you can to set the valves in HI position (max openning)
- take a run and see how it goes (normally you should reach 11000 rpm in 4th gear)
if it's OK , now re-plug the servo-motor and dismount the cables from the pulley (living the valves on HI & remember where cables are set on the pulley)
download my file https://www.geneva-racing.ch/~alains/NSRtips.doc , look bottom page #10
start engine and observe the pulley while accelerating up to 8000 rpm . if the sequence is correct , your valves are stocked in the exhaust port and your engine needs de-coke with rings change (eventually piston or cylinder-piston kit)
if not , could be the CDI , RC/valves controler or the servo-motor
checking the servo-motor is easy
feed quickly (max 1s) from the battery between white & white/black and if it works reverse polarities
if OK both ways your servo-motor is OK
for the CDI & RC/valve controler it's quit impossible but very often loose contact on the red/white makes this problem
good luck on your quest (keep me inform) ____________________ the worst day fishing is better than the best day working |
