Just had to claim my keys from security at the supermarket where i park my motorcycle after some mongoloid trumpet cunt tried to claim they were his. he passed a note to security saying he'd lost the keys to the bike with my reg saying contact his phone number if found.

apparently theres a gang of people trying this around the Grantham Area of Lincolnshire.

Police have been informed.

I'm confused, why would security have your keys? or is it incase you lose them and the supermarket call that number?

Makes no sense, surely you had your keys on your person, so how could you claim keys that you already had on you from security?

I'm guessing security and the theif were watching the bike and saw it's proper owner approach it with the keys or heard him start it.

Security would probably assume the OP as the guilty party and possibly take the keys or ask for proof.

Nasty situation Shocked

Supermarket security taking his keys off him ? They'd have been told to do one.
If he handed his keys over willingly then he's a prize idiot.

God knows... All I know is that security picked me up running from the gym to my bike after realising I no longer had my keys... Assuming security put 2 and 2 together after seeing a guy in White leathers running towards a White bike...

Must be pretty slim pickings if they have to hang around on the off-chance someone will drop their keys.

I think that takes an extraordinary level of coincidence to be a successful scam, unless the perpetrator has some certain way of getting your keys out of your pocket.

I think the trick is to just not lose your keys tbh.

Doesn't sound like a scam to me, just sounds like you dropped your keys.

And if the scammers had seen you drop your keys why would they have given them to security instead of just going off to nick the bike?

Basically...how did they know you had lost your keys?
