The idle screw seems to do absolutely shit all.
Just spins round and round...no change in revs... really pisses me off!

Any idea what to do, at the moment ive adjusted it throttle end.

The plastic knob on my last two bikes tended to slide down the screw itself so wont actually grip and adjust anything unless you pull it towards you and turn it. Maybe try that?

This is the idle screw as in you can see the needle itself is turning and moving in/out yes?

If so, turn it all the way in counting the turns, bring it all the way out and have a gander to see if its all there (a missing tip could cause this) then put it back in and turn out the number of turns counted previously.

Or maybe the idle channel in the carb is blocked...

Best regards

Holding the idle up on the throttle cable isn't a good idea because the revs will rise when you turn the steering to lock.

I'm about today if you fancy a ride over. Got some machining work to do but I can spare a bit of time.
