Ok we've all seen the Bimota and its marmite hub centre front end but does anyone know how it works mechanically?
I've done a little bit of searching and cant work out how it all works together from the bar grips to the tyre Confused

I'm personally not a fan of the system (give me a set of ohlins any day) but the whole thing does have me rather intrigued.

Hi

Probably better to have a photo of the other side, where the steering arm actually is.

Basically the spindle through the middle is fixed, and the hub pivots on around the middle of that. The wheel bearing is then massive and goes around the hub.

In theory should work a hell of a lot better than forks. But forks have had loads of makers for well over half a century developing them so have a bit of a head start.

Edit - the 2nd piccy here might give you a better idea.

All the best

Keith
