Well thought id share a few pictures of my dads Moto Martin project.

History: He got it about 11/12 years ago after swapping it for his gsx1000 katana. It was in abit of a state then and was put off the road in 99. It sat up until about 6 months ago when he decided to rebuild it. He decided to change the standard wheels and front end for more modern gear.

Trying to find a front end with enough offset was an issue to clear the frame. But settled on a zx9r front end which just gives enough clearance. The wheels are a mix of Bandit 1200 back and zx9r up front.

The swingarm needed to be widened to accomadate the 180 tyre over the standard 150.

Heres a pic of the widening

It was running a standard gs1000 motor before. It will be running an early GSX1100 motor with a 1170 wiseco big bore.

Ill hopefuly keep this updated better than past projects Laughing

The Oilboiler motors are tiny in comparison to the gsx motor and look out of place in the martin frame we already checked Laughing

Looks a tad shorter and appears to has had a lot of frame work Wink or it may even be a oilboiler frame Smile

Something doesn't look strait is it the sub-frame..?

I've all ways liked the French chassis when I saw a CBX motor in one, nice..

To be fair it prob doesnt help at the angles im at the wheel not sat in place correctly(no spacers yet) and the back of the sub frame just there to hold on the tail unit but still probably isnt straight Laughing

I notice afterwards that the shock loosely fitted and it was probably a mock up shot.
