Hey guys,
I was fiddling with the bike today, fitted new air filter and had the carbs partially off and I think I've messed something up somehow.
It feels like the throttle is sticking but can't see why this would be the case as it was fine before, its so bad that I can essentially cruise control without holding the throttle in place.

Did I tighten the throttle cable up or something like this accidentally, doesnt seem to be returning fully at its own accord (I have to twist the throttle back off)

Just wondered if anyone had any other ideas for when I have a look 2moro.

Thanks

Just take it off and put it back on. My personal thoughts are you may have twisted the cable as if it were straight and you pushed it back the cable would just flex.

But Im probably wrong Laughing

Oil your throttle cables, see if that helps any Thumbs Up

Just get some WD40 or anything like that with the wee red tube that comes with it, and spray it down the sleeve of the cable, pulling it up and down to move the oil about... should help the throttle stop sticking.

If it has bar ends, the right one might be tight against the throttle grip?

Thanks for suggestions,
Grip doesn't overlap bar end so it wasn't that,
sprayed wd-40 down the cable now mr dunk.
Was expecting cable to be too tight but where the cable goes into the throttle housing the adjuster nut thing was pretty slack. Tightened it up and the adjuster at the other end of the cable by carbs.
Yet to go out and test it properly but throttle seems to be returning a lot better. Very Happy
