I came across this while on the ADV adventurer site and just thought I would share it with you guys. He went from Sydney to London on a postie bike. I ordered the book, look really interesting.

He's doing his handstand wrong.

You should never look at the floor but instead look directly ahead.

test for a good handstand is to be able to look at your toes Smile

long gone are the days of me being able to do handstand pirouettes... just about manage to hold them on parallel bars but thats as good as it gets for me now..

I was reading somewhere else (cant remember where) about a bloke who has not long ago just finished riding from South-Africa to England on a BSA Bantam Shocked .

These people seriously impress me as it has to be just SOOO hard on bikes that small.

Welcome to about two years ago Laughing I followed the trip, still not sure if I'm going to get the book though. It's a little pricey.

Ah I learned in capoeira where we'd always look at the other player/opponent.

Anyway - looks like a great tip, but i don't consider things like this special as most people could/would do it if they had the money.

If only I had £15,000 or so i'd go riding around the world too. In fact it's something I hope to do before i get much older
