I have a ducati monster and when undoing the clutch bleed nipple managed to shear it off. does anyone know what the fixing is called that the nipple screws into as i need a new one but can't find one anywhere as i don't know the name of it.

It'll be the clutch slave cylinder. If you think it's knackered it's worth having a go getting it out, soak with Plusgas, bit of heat and try a decent stud remover as you're already got the central hole. Bleed nipples are about the only thing I've managed to get out with the extractors as they usually snap. Plus you could try and drill it going up in .5mm increments until you can just see the thread then pick it out.
