Who’d have thought it?! Opening banana’s up at the perceived ‘wrong end’ is how it should be done.

It’s taken me 41 years to realise that this is how monkeys do it (and it doesn't half make things easier!)...

Double Deckers are easy to open at either end and taste nicer than bananas.

I have never found opening a bananna, from either end, in any way challenging.

Ok, a top tip. If you're going to use petrol to light a fire, soak a small amount of petrol into something like sand, dry dirt or the ashes of a previous fire. Light that then pile your sticks on top of it. Throwing petrol on top of a fire just results in a fireball which will go out in a few seconds.

Opening it at the other end (bottom) is how the majority of great apes do it.

It is easier, but you get a little blob of grey bit which tastes gross.

Always fart into the rings on top of your gas cooker. This will turn back the gas meter and save you pounds over a period of time.

When I first glanced at the OP, I thought the image was referring to the orientation of the banana when inserted into a bodily orifice. Twisted Evil

That banana is still green-ish and, I suspect, recently purchased. "I'm eating this because there's nothing else in" bananas are black and mushy and only suitable for banana bread.

Attach a pole to the front of your car/bike. Make sure the pole is pointing directly infront of the car/bike. Attach a magnet to the pole. The magnet pulls the car/bike. No fuel needed.

even better tip for lighting a fire is dont use petrol use diesel
pore diesel over you fire the soak a small bit of paper with diesel place paper at bottem of fire light one corner and watch the whole lot burn A SMALL CUP OF DIESEL IS ENOUGH! for a large fire

When hammering nails near edges or ends of hard, brittle, or knotty wood, you may have the misfortune of having a large crack appear, or even a piece of your wood break out at the edge.

Blunt the point of the nail with your hammer. This is done by placing the nail on a hard surface with the point facing up, and tapping the sharp end with your hammer. The nail will then cut its way through the wood grain, rather than wedging a pathway. Though this puts all the material displacement along a single plain, rather than dispursing it all around the point of the nail.

Lubricate your nail. For especially hard woods like oak or maple, you may have better luck if you dip the nail in petroleum jelly, which reduces the friction of the driving process, and can decrease the probability of the wood splitting.

Hammery nail stuff

If you rub the face of your hammer with emery cloth to remove the shine, it's less likely to slip to the side and bend the nail/dent the wood when hammering.

I disagree without having actually tried it the ape way. I now want to buy a banana just to try it. I reckon the stem snaps open easier, so the ape way will be a bit of an acquired art like cracking eggs.
