Well the bike is pretty much done now. I did a post before of how shyte looking it was.
£700 later (paint job) £400 later - bits for it - its pretty much done.
I still need to buy wavey disks,Grip, Exhaust is being shortened tomorrow (If I dont like I will buy a MotoGP pipe like I had on the B1H)
Rear still needs to be raised - slight issue with the sprayer who now has another job so couldnt complete it. I am thinking of just getting the sub re-welded.
anyhow here are some shots - Im happy so far.
Undertray needs more spraying due to the paint reacting to something, but its right underneath - Unsure when that will be done Rolling Eyes
Huge lesson learnt with buying a 2nd hand bike without looking into it - But the bikes been done to my liking - so its mine Smile
Before & After Smile

Once you paint your top yoke and work on those chicken strips a little it'll be a cracking bike. Did you sort the rear subframe in the end?

£700 to have a bike painted white or black is ridiculous. Glad you like it.

The only spoiler to that bike is that bulbous front flushmount! I've always hated those budget bike-it/motrax "flushmount". It spoils any bike because it looks cheap. Prefer LED flusmounts OR original stalks as opposed to those flush mounts. Unfortunately, chances are you would have needed to drill through the fairings in order to mount those and that they were originally there in the first place?

Ill rewind and give you the bike panels yeah?? That bike was full of crap copter tape, layer over layer over layer of 3 jobs worth of paint.
With what the bike was, and with what the outcome is - its well worth the job...
The tank in itsself was fucked up majorly.....The ammount of hiden 'plastic welds' was unreal -
Both front indis will be replaced too Thumbs Up

you need to get the fork legs anodized black and the spots in the callipers anodized white (well.. silver, cos you can't anodize white)

If you want Rolling Eyes . It was just my personal opinion that they have overcharged. If the panels were that bad then I would of got a set of these and started with something that was relatively easy to work with. You could of got some money back, if not most, from selling the old panels.

Once again, just my opinion, as long as you are happy who cares?

Looks good Louise. I Think white or blue wheels would set it off perfectly.

Can you get infill panels for the subframe mounts?

Also the wheels seem a little plain. If you don't want to powder coat them, what about some white or blue rim tape?

I think it's just to break up the black under tray, looks a bit plain. Even a white Yamaha decal like on the factory paint would work.
