Last year I built a set of van powered rollers in This thread.
They work well but you need a van (not always an option in a crowded paddock) and it is a two person operation. You need to trust the guy in the van and after almost getting my foot caught in the rollers while the driver just kept his foot down oblivious to my plight I decided to make something safer.
Commercial rollers cost about £650, I made these for just over £200. ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today. |

What motor are you using?
Looking great. I might make a set to get the rs500 started when it's done |

Wotcha.
We made ours out of an old Honda stationary engine - centrifugal clutch - the rollers are salvaged from a conveyor belt system. I'll try and take a few piccies of it. . . .Ah, hold on, I have a video somewhere.
Start, ya bugger, start
That's the "Starcati" you see starting - BSA Starfire bottom end with a Ducati Desmo head. . . . the rear wheel of my B33 makes a fleeting appearance in the foreground ____________________ Cheers.
