Don’t tell me that I want it more now
Got a bit of a thing for all the old BSA Bantams and that as well. Just kinda like the 60s look in compact forms |

It all comes down to warranty and resale. Sinnis are trying to build a brand, so you might get lucky on the former. It's the latter that'll be more likely to nob you.
Oh, and "Chinese bike" is pretty much a non sequitur. The YBR 125 is a "Chinese bike" as are many other 125s now (pop the seat off a modern Vespa and see where it's made).
Chinese-branded is what you mean, and Sinnis is a British brand. You might get lucky on the resale.
That's a lovely looking bike, and might make a great used purchase. Bought new though, you really have to do the sums and see if you can afford the depreciation. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

True Roger, been having a bit of a google, engines are made in a factory that make Suzuki engines (recent merger). Guessing that means the build quality should be higher than the Skyteam'esque brands.
Might keep en eye open for a secound hand one. Still in the mind of running the Rieju into the ground before trading up for a new main bike. But as a cheap 2nd bike, id kinda like one of these |

Sinnis is as British as Superbyke. The Superbyke "RCC125" is manufactured as the HN125-8 by Jiangmen Dihao Motorcycle Co, and marketed by them under the Houniao and Haotian brands. Superbyke is just branding it as an RCC125 for the UK market. The Lexmoto Vixen is the same bike as well.
Yes, I know its complex, but if you dismiss it as "Chinese regardless" then why not say the same thing about the YBR125, or Vespas? They're all made in Chinese factories, from Chinese parts, by Chinese workers.
I'll answer the question for you: it matters which Chinese factories, parts and workers are involved.

Do you know what factory / manufacturer that is?
I ask because Dihao (mainland China) and Kymco (Taiwan) recently announced a venture to use Kymco's Euro 4 compliant engines in Dihao's bikes. Those are two of the better manufacturers. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Don't be taken in. You know those girls who seem really fit when you're in a dimly lit club and have had a skinful...think of Chinese bikes like that. However viable it seems at the time, you will bitterly regret it and hate yourself if you go ahead and do it.
Having said that, it's certainly not the most shabby looking bike I've ever seen. But 1500 notes for something Chinese is madness ____________________ The RXS100: vehicle of choice for Chuck Norris |

I can't stand the YBR 125 looking thing, think it's called the Sinnis Max or Maxi, some guy had one at my college he used to park it next to my YBR thinking he could be equally as awesome ____________________ Seem to not have enough karma to post :l |

I had a Sinnis as my first bike, sold it on to someone else when I passed my test and it hasn't killed him yet.
He lives just down the road from one of my mates and parks it outside his house, so every time I go past I get a nostalgic feeling
It looked a bit like this:

Although it was much closer looks-wise to nowhere_elysium's sinnis, i.e a total rat ____________________ Previous - Sinnis Apache - Honda Bros 400 - Yamaha SR500 - Honda Transalp - Kawasaki ZX-7R - Honda CB-1 - Honda 929 Fireblade - Honda NTV650 [b]Current[\b] Honda CB500 |

That's what Sinnis, Lexmoto and Superbyke are doing. Lexmoto have successfully got the "Lexmoto Vixen" onto most insurers' lists, unlike the identical Huoniao / Haotian / Superbyke brandings. Pro tip: get a best quote using the Lexmoto, then call them up and say "Come onnnnn..."
And is it really, truly so hard to accept that the YBR is a Chinese bike, made in China, from Chinese parts, by Chinese workers? It is, it really is, it's a Chinese bike. Take a deep breath and try to let it into your heart, it all gets easier after that. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

After sitting on one at a dealer's, yes, I can believe it was made in China ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

I quite like it too.
Its not trying too hard to impress, Twin rear shocks, quite a bit of black and simple design.
Nice
