Did you check that it's exactly the same as the old one, i.e. width, profile, tubed/tubeless (and if it's a tube tyre that it is tubed!), radial/cross/bias ply, and - I'm perfectly serious - that he's fitted it the right way around? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

im prety sure its the same size, its tubeless, as the original was...and yes, it is on the correct way
Ive spun it by hand a few times, and from what i can see, the tire rim sits evenly within the wheel rim, but there is on part on the top of the tire which appears to bulge slightly, causing the wobble.
im going to run the tire in for about 2 weeks, and if the problem pursues, take it back to the workshop to get it sorted out.
thanks for all the suggestions ____________________ MBK Nitro 50, Sold. Kawasaki ER-5, Honda ST1100

If the tyre doesn't run true then no matter where it came from it needs to be looked at. Do a visual test with it on the stand and if it's not running true take it back for them to sort.
Suppliers can't supply you a poor product then blame you for where THEY sourced it from. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

You trust someone who tells you that the tyre they fitted poorly is wobbly because they sold you a cheap one?

if they refuse, ill be requesting my old tire back and putting it back on myself (with a little help from a friend who is actually mechanically informed) ____________________ MBK Nitro 50, Sold. Kawasaki ER-5, Honda ST1100

my brother has also suggested, if they try to charge me, demanding my £60 back for the shit tire, giving me my original tire back, and fucking off

just an update...i took it to the shop today, the mechanic checked it was on the wheel correctly: it was.
so, comming to the conclusion its a defective tire, im giving them a bit extra to have a pirelli tire ordered in, and im getting it fitted for free.
with the pirelli, they are putting my refund on the defective tire (£40) towards the new one, and im gona pay the difference (£26)
