Sorry to hear that.
Have you had medical attention?
Did you get all of his details?
Did the police attend?
Did you get any witness details?
Have his insurance unequivocally admitted 100% fault?
If you're not absolutely sure that you're going to get a full payout for all of your losses, then I'd suggest that you contact a specialist solicitor like www.sorrymate.com or similar. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Actually, THE 'roundabout' features prominantly in the Canadian Drivers Ed course, and questions about 'priority' on 'The Roundabout' are asked in the Canadian 'Theory' test, which in Canada you have to p[ass before you can have a provisional driving licence.
THE roundabout, is a common question on Driver Re-Education, courses for convicted drivers, and a well known 'phenominon'.... amongst Canadian Drivers in consequence....
THE roundabout, I believe is actually in Edmonton Alberta......
YES. Its THE Roundabout, as in THE only one they have.....
And it is quite BIZARRE trying to do do a complete mind flip and give way to the left!
I imagine it is actually EASIER for Kinook Drivers to get used to UK road systems, NOT having conditioned themselves into mirror immage roundabout systems.....
My father manages to drive down the wrong side of teh road every bludy time he comes over.... and I now refuse to get into a car with him.... So, last time he decided to simply drive into MY car, instead!
TBH he's not MUCH better in the land of mounties & lumberjacks, but at LEAST over there they have adopted the american system of dumbing down to the lowest common denominator.... giving them all automatic gearboxes so they dont have too many pedals to worry about or anything, and then arranging the roads with big wide lanes and plenty of room to fuck up when you cant pic the right one!
But at LEAST it was a Kanook..... They are a very apologetic race, on the whole... probably something to living next door the Americans... you know, bit like the quiet neighbours always appologising for the rowdies next door......
Meanwhile, as for the roundabout....... if he managed to get INFRONT of you quick enough for you to go over his boot..... you a) probably couldn't have done MUCH about hazard avoidance, spotting him early enough to do 'something' to not be there, though you probably DID have time to do some hazard avasion, and get yourself out the way!
What was your instinctive reaction?
At a GUESS, I'm going to say you saw blur accross your bow, picked the bike up, and hauled down on the anchors, in a straight line?
And in all liklihood, you ate up a whole shed load... probably thirty of forty micro seconds worth... in stunned panic NOT doing ANYTHING, before it dawned on you what was happening...... and then a few more micro seconds when you realised it WAS happening, and your brain 'flailed' trying to find an appropriate response, before 'Instinct' and utter terror just shouted 'STOP' and you braked!
I HAVE before now in a similar situation, layed the bike down further, tightened line, clipped a few of them pettalled things.... 'bedding plants' I think My Gran called them.. they have names, I know, my mother keeps telling me that they are differenc specis, and stuff, but its all Greek... or more likely Latin,. to me..... anyway, sniffy things in the flower beds in the middle..... I know they smell, My heads been IN them as I've gone round, on tighter line, using that 'nth' of an inch of tarmac between the idiot pulling out and the roundabout kerb, thumb FIRMLY on the horn, and done a full loop of the roundabout before coming back off on the exit I really wanted! Having made an extra, (Very NARROW) 'Bike' lane for myself!
Alternatively, picked up, and gone LEFT, swerving round their tail.... again, thumb firmly on the beep button.
Or OCCASIONALLY come to a complete rest, front wheel mm in front of their Drivers door..... as they have SUDDENLY realised what that 'shape' they just saw coming round the roundabout was.... and done an E-Stop, so they can wacth you swerve one way, then the other, before you realise they ent going to get the fuck out the way!
What could you have done?
Had the lightning reflexes and instincts of a cat, and the cool of a cucumber to NOT to completely shit your self THAT very split second..... (You can happily do that AFTER the event... some aged riders are so well controlled they can actually hold in the shakes and shits until they have got ALL the way home!) and use ALL your skill and dexterity to 'sort it out'....
Don't worry... a few more close calls of this sort, and you WILL acquire that sort of instinct, reaction and machine control!
Meanwhile.... just remember the golden rule...... every one else on the roads is a homicidal idiot, and they have YOU at the top pf their Death List!
Glad you are OK ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

*looks right, its clear*
*go...lean.....engine cuts out due to not enough revs due to steep hill and extra weight*
*splat at 0 miles an hour*
