Carlos I don't know your situation or how much research you've given it, but it might not be as out of the question as you think. Take a look at www.realroadracing.com - there are a lot of smaller races you can get to quite cheaply. Looking at your location, Scarborough is essentially just up the road from you. They have a race there in July and again in September time (I think), one of which might suit? A day out for the family? Congratulations, by the way...
