When I got my bike (another h100a) the idle speed was set pretty high, so I turned the idle speed down a quater of a turn. I now find it wont idle for long for the first 10 minutes. I usually start on the choke, put my helmet on, choke off, then full throttle to clear excess oil and get clean running (20 secs) then have to blip the throttle every now and agin while I put my gloves on. She's normally fine by the time I have to stop at the first junction at the bottom of the road.
I would give the jets a good clean through as i've had problems with crap in my tank before where she ran fine with choke on but poor with off- best thing I ever did was fit an inline fuel filter. ____________________ Rides: Honda H100a (Retired), VT500e (Sold), Kawasaki ZX400 (sold), Kawasaki GT550 (Sold), Suzuki Inazuma (Daily), Honda CD185t (Broken), LML Star 2t (Last run edition). |

Well its the only 2t I've ever had, but yeah it normally idles for a few minutes then I clear it. Sounds like its got a smokers cough and misfires otherwise. I wouldnt say it was full throttle pinned back but a few revs clear it- lasted six months so far ____________________ Rides: Honda H100a (Retired), VT500e (Sold), Kawasaki ZX400 (sold), Kawasaki GT550 (Sold), Suzuki Inazuma (Daily), Honda CD185t (Broken), LML Star 2t (Last run edition). |
