I re-did my insurance today.
I was with BikeSure, they 'renewed' my policy, which was £360 TPFT with the excess of £750.
So I did online quotes today, the best I got was MCE at £257 TPFT.
Horrified when I got the text from them saying its all been put through (there emails went to my spam folder )
So I called, and they were helpful, spoke to some guy who got my insurance down to £250 for the year.
I had loads of quotes from online companys, MCE was £303, then £270, down to £257.. All in the space of 2 hours.
Its a hassle, and a pain but its worth just calling around, rather then use online companys IMO - if you have the time. |

Bit of an issue, unless im being a numpty....
Bikesure said £250 for the year, with £25 DD for 10 months.
I get my letter from Premium Credit saying its all ok and I will pay £32.56 per month for 10 months - £325.60
Looked at my email that got sent from Bikesure saying nothing on how much I would pay per month (last year it did) but my premuim was £86ish in this email.
Am I wrong in thinking they should of told me this? as I would of cancled and gone with MCE who quoted £257 for the year.
I didnt have this when i took out a policy with Bikesure in 2009/10 as I was told £360, and £360 is all I would pay! |
