I find it best to take one bike out at a time, in my case the 450 motocrosser for off road and the FZ6 for on the main road.

Ride the YBR when appropriate and the R6 when appropriate. It's much more convenient than having one bike ____________________ Seem to not have enough karma to post :l |

Same here. My choice tends to be weather-dependent. All 3 are kept road-legal cos it doesn't cost a lot. If the weather looks shit I take the zephyr, if it looks nice I take the VS800, if it looks nice and the route doesn't involve hill starts I take the VS1400! (Although that is mostly getting ridden by the OH at the moment).
I did struggle at first switching from an IL4 commuter to a vtwin cruiser and back - if I'd been mostly riding one I would sort of forget how to ride the other one but the more time has gone by the better that gets. ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

I've got the CBR600 and the DT now, and whichever i feel like taking out i will take out. DT is more for bad weather and shorter journeys, as the CBR is in great condition for it's age, so that's really my weekend toy.
Isnt' that hard though.

Its pretty easy. I have 4 Bikes now and TBH I just ride what I feel like. The Scooter ( ) Gets used for commuting, the GSXR gets used for fun and when I fancy something faster and the new Sachs will get used through out winter (if it lives that long). The 4th is the trackbike im half way through building which isnt road legal. ____________________ Former: Derbi GP1 50, Sachs XTC 125, Suzuki GSXR 400 GK73A, Kawasaki ZX7R, Suzuki DR250, Yamaha RD350

Think 2 is ok but 3's a crowd...i have 2 x zx6r's, B1s, one road, one track for last couple of years which was fine....last month bought a Gixxer K7 track bike and thats been keeping me busy (as i crashed it first time at the track due to brakes failing )
Probably, will sell the road ZX6r as tbh i really don't use it as i have a 135cc scooter for buzzing around town.. just need to get around to cleaning it and changing brake pads, then actually advertising it ... maybe tomorrow ..mrs keeps bitching about the space as well |

I should be getting my RXS back off my friend who has been learning on it, in September. I'll then be rebuilding the thing (it really needs it) over the winter.
In March I plan on having the Bros as my day to day commuter, the RXS as a cheap toy and maybe some commuting and a newish ZZR600 (or something similar) for weekends, rides with the girlfriend and distance.
Now to find out how much it'll cost to insure that lot ____________________ Riding: BMW R1150RT `02 bought mildly crashed
