Ok so after fixing problems on my CG, It is all running smoothly.... Sort of.

The bike starts first time 90% of the time, and if it doesn't it's because i'm a spaz and didn't kick it properly.

When i let it idle, it usually cuts out, Used to do it pretty quickly, sounded like it was trying to catch its breath, and would sometimes just stop.
Even when doing 40MPH,If i pull the clutch in an the revs drop, it's pretty much defiantly going to cut out.

Then i changed the oil as it needed some, and it doesn't do it as much, but i still won't let it idle at junctions, usually cuts out 5-10 minutes after idling, it varies alot.

I think it could be the Idle screw, I've tried moving it but the bugger just won't move!, i've WD40'd it, and it's not budging.

Any ideas what this could be, and how to fix it?

BTW: I'm no mechanic, i was assured at 10/40 oil would be all right for it, so i used that, i drained it from the nut, then put the new oil in where the dipstick is, (Should have used a Funnel or something, Ended up making quite a mess).

The dipstick shows just under the 'full' mark thing, so i think that is all fine, Pleas help!

From my experience with my own CG i suggest it may be running too rich on idle (i.e. too much petrol, not enough air).

Would suggest cleaning the air filter (they're washable and reusable on the CG) and seeing if this helps as it could simply be that not enough air is getting through and that the amount of petrol and idle speed is just fine. This may fix your problem.

Plusgas works better than WD40 but be careful not to bust the screw!

Idle screw not moving? Positive it is the correct screw you are turning?

How old is the spark plug? I had problems like this due to a crap old plug, fitted a new one then the bike was happy. Generally just check that the carb rubber isn't split, the air filter is clean, and that the choke is in the correct position when riding (mine used to bounce on meaning cut outs).

If the idle screw is really stuck I would suggest that you soak it with WD-40 or some penetrating oil and retry, sometimes a bit of shock can free up a stuck screw or heat but as there is petrol in the carb I wouldnt recommend the last option. Laughing

I have looked at a manual thing online, and it is infact the idle screw, I soaked it in WD40, i'll try it again later. And i have a new spark plug that is not in yet, I will plonk that in and see what happens, I will report back later today

EDIT: I have found somthing, On the carb there is a rubber tube going to the Air filter, There is a split in that, Would that be causing the problem?, If so, Where can i get a nw one?, or can i just glue it?
