The scale goes both ways. Do you ever worry that you look silly on a bike? Be it too large or too small?
I'm 6'2" and ahem, portly.
For years I was worrying if I looked stupid riding smaller framed bikes so I have always pretty much gone for sports tourers and the like.
I bought a TLR and sold it within a month because I saw my reflection in a shop window and just thought ...damn..
After over a year and a half I've now gone back to a TLS after selling my Thunderace as I love the sound and feel of the bike. I've had enough of worrying about what I look like and now I'm actually starting to really enjoy riding again, especially when I have to commute.
It may sound stupid but I just wondered if any others felt the same i.e too small for a big bike or too large for a small bike etc. ____________________ Check out our tackle shop on Facebook:

I usually have to go to shows, promos or just to dealerships before I consider changing bikes...
I'm not too bothered how I look on various bikes, but usually have to try a test-fit cos I'm relatively short.
I'd love to try out one of the big trailies, or maybe a road legal supermoto, but I'm just too short.. I've even had issues with some litre bikes ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

6'3" and 15-16st (I'm trying to loose a bit of weight , although I dont look fat )
I manage to fit onto/into my 1098s with no real cramping issues and I dont think I look too big for it when I've caught a glimpse of my reflection in a shop window, not that I was actively looking or owt'
My brother has a Daytona 675 and he's about 6'2" and 12st I though he was going to be waaayyyy too bit for it but it seems to fit him nicely and he doesnt have and comfort complaints. ____________________ Current; 10' Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.

I'm 6'3" and over 20stone
Certain people I know are trying to convince me to get a Honda c90 for commuting in town, I'm fairly convinced that I'll look like the Circus Bear riding a Tricicle ____________________ Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it. - Elwood P. I'm 6'6 and a tubby bitch (22st). I rode my delightful chinese 125 for 6 months with no issues. As one of my mates put it, I looked like a wookiee on a tricycle! Yes, I looked very silly riding it, but I soon learned not to give a shit, cos I had a bike and it was awesome!
I'm now on a Bandit 6. It still looks a bit wee, but it handles just fime with me on it.

I'm 6'2, as well but only 12st the only bike that felt truly wrong for me was my YBR in size and other things. Varadero felt like it was built for me, perfect seat height, peg distance and dimensions.
Bandit feels like its too small for me sometimes but after seeing a photo of me on it looks quite the opposite, maybe its the return to a naked bike with only bars and clocks barely visible in front of me ____________________ Current: 02 FZS 1000 & 91 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Some Bike Pics...

I look normal sized when I'm riding my TZR250. I'm small.
I'm sure the Blackbird dwarfs me, but I don't care, because no one gets much of a chance to look...it's just too quick |

not sure how I look on the beloved xrv, I'll get a photo taken one day... 5'8", 11 1/2 stone...getting my seat cut down an inch or so just to be on the safe side, as I safely tiptoe when the bike is unloaded (i.e. 60 of my foot touching ground)...nearly nearly finished it ready for offroading
there is a 90% chance that I will get a hernia from picking up for the 10th time in a row... ____________________ 1989 CG125 - Childhood Sweetheart (she got kidnapped by baddies)
