 |

Have a Honda CBR 125, its running rich as the plug indicates dry fouling, and the exhaust backfires flames on de-acceleration.
Checked the air filter and its okay, tried to adjust the mixture but found its covered with a tamper-proof metal casing?
The carb is hard to get to properly on the left side (which is where im told the mixture screw is), there are two phillips head screws that i believe hold the choke housing onto the carb, and then this casing im talking about. Its at the front (on the left side) where the carb connects to the induction valve.
Is this the mixture screw, and how can i adjust it?
Also, when i start the bike cold, it revs at about 4000 for about 6 seconds then drops down to the 1500 set idling speed, any ideas?
Cheers, Adam |

Cheers Paddy, a pictures just what i need
Although my dad asked a garage today, and they said the backfiring was because the standard air box had not been upgraded after adding the race can?
Does this sound plausible?
