during the hard work and expense getting through the DAS course she was really supportive -

now ive passed and am very near purchasing a bike she come out with.... 'i dont want you getting a bike, theyre dangerous, i hear so many horror stories.... etc etc etc'

does anybody have anything i can say to her that might out her mind at rest, or at least shut her up !

I'm not so sure that women don't want their blokes to ride bikes because they're dangerous - I think they sometimes feel usurped and are jealous of them. They take up her mans time and are loved sometimes more. The only solution is to get here her own bike.
