Women will be Women.... they do not understand the need for a bike... Go buy the thing, and carry on.
My Mrs & my son right now wants me to sell, because its 'too dangerous' out there.
Infact its not, If your an 'aware' rider, you will spot the faults head on. Go and enjoy, you will love it! Thumbs Up

Do her up the, oh forget it.

Try the sly approach. Give her a few quid and tell her to go and treat herself to something nice and then when she gets back show her the lovely new bike you bought while she was out.

If she starts to moan then remember to use a phone book as they don't leave marks Laughing

Standard BCF response:

1. Bikes are dangerous.

2. Man the fuck up.

And the personal favourite

No your not.... All of my Ex's (women) hate me having a bike.
Bikes come first, not women (Waits for the back lash)

She knows she comes second to my dog. Maybe a bike will be one bit of competition too many?

It's called a pecking order.

Don't worry, she'll get used to her place. You just have to give her a bit of time to adjust. Thumbs Up

Or just do what my dog did the other night. Piss all over the floor. Your missus will soon forget about the bike.
