a neighbour of my mother in laws keeps parking across her drive, we've tried speaking to him politely, tried telling him straight but he still keeps parking there. I've got some spray grease, if i shove a load of this up the exhaust will it do any permanent damage? hopefully, if im right then it'll smoke like billy-o when he gets a mile away and the exhaust warms up. i dont want to do any real damage, just piss him off a bit like he pisses us off. any other ideas for childish revenge?

Shouldn't do any harm. A nice big printed sign spray-glued to his windscreen would get the point across.

Spray grease will get heated up and blow out the end of the exhaust, that's all.

Expanding foam on the other hand will require a new back box to remove.

A fist full on nails on the ground might convince him that parking there isn't a great idea.

Some 40 grit wet & dry rubbed firmly on at eye level on the drivers side of the wind screen should piss someone off a great deal.

Brake fluid isn't kind to paint work and can be used to write any number of swear words.

Chunks of spark plug ceramic go through windows very easily and quietly.

2-4 good sized lads can pick up the back end of a car and wheel it to somewhere else. If they wanted to they could also roll it onto it's roof.

Anything you do will invite retaliation. Confront him yourself, resolutely, or find someone who will.

Superglueing razor blades there would work, as would putting tiny stones into the lock Laughing

The only plan i'd really advise is getting some lads round to pick the back end up and wheel it somewhere. The car will then not be in your way, they will get the message that this will be a recurring event if they keep parking there. It also shows them that you know enough decent sized lads to make their life problematic if they piss you off Wink

Arm yourself with a screwdriver.

Take out all his lightbulbs.

Swap the numberplates.

Take the rubbers out his windscreen wipers.

Sew cress seeds in all the gaps in the bodywork.

Tape porn to the passenger side.

Spray "I'm a CUNT" in glow in the dark paint on his drivers door.

Does the drive have a dropped kerb, if so park your car on the drive so he blocks you in. Then call the plod and say that he is obstructing your drive and you need to get to a importent meeting / birthday / wife's in labour etc.

They then send the friendly local community plastic PCSO who get the car removed.....he'll have a nice £200 cost to get the car back and i think he'll get the point.

It doesn't work if you want to pull into your drive though, it's only an offence to block a vehicle in.

Then tell him if he does it again then the outcome will be the same. If she doesn't drive buy a banger for £50 on the bay and leave it on the drive.

Need a paint diagram.

Do you mean at the end of it, or at the end of it on the opposite side of the road?

This, if its your side of the road, get it towed, if its the otherside chill out and learn to park better (or learn to park worse and get a towbar installed.

these, sequestered in various nooks and crannies of the exhaust would be fun.

Dump battery acid over car. Jack up car move to the main road (double yellows) after letting down all tyres. Piss on radiator. Scottoiler chain lube up the exhaust. block in car with you're care and someone elses. so on and so on the more awkward you make it for them the more likely they are to stop.

just about all the sugestions invite problems to you or your mum in law,
you had it pretty close with the spray grease, but the exhaust box doesnt get hot enough,

on the other hand a big blob of normal grease up near the headers, works wonders, and it smokes for ages, nice black smoke Very Happy

it requires sliding under his car though,

OP ask him nicely once not to park there, then tell him nicely not to park there, if it continues, hit him very very hard with a length of bar and set his car on fire, job done!

any come backs, kill his entire family very slowly.

alledgedly!

Politely let him know that whilst he is free to park on the road and yes he has payed his road tax he didn't pay for your dropped gutter, so would he kindly remove his car and stop blocking said driveway as he'll soon moan if his car is clipped whilst cars are being put on and taken off the drive, say it in a firm voice and keep eye contact, say the above and shut up, say nothing else, just stare at him...

The above also helps if you know someone with a recovery truck Wink ...

even if there was a car on the drive no laws are broken by blocking it, found this out researching a problem neighbour at my parents in law, some police site down south said they wouldn't be interested if the car is legal
