Hi
Got a nsr, I've followd the de-restriction guide. i olso use a Gianelli exhaust, 135 jet and 13 sprocket. But in your guide topspeed is at 110m/h
mine only does about 90. What is wrong it is a 97mod. Is it the exhaust, whice is the best?? What should i do to get it to do 110?? Anyone her who acctually own a NSR capabel of 110, please tel me everything youve done.

Well my NSR is a 2000 model and I've reached an indicated 107 (go me Mr. Green )

All I've done to it is,

1. Removed intake restrictor
2. Removed exhaust restrictor
3. Used fully synthetic oil (Mobil 1)
4. Changed pin and rings at 11000 miles

Very Happy hope this helps

The right mainjet with Giannelli is 140. if you drive a long time with 135, your nsr might be cut stop. Sounds are really cool Twisted Evil with Giannelli, it is a little better than Arrow or Jolly Moto. Polini is best, i think.
My nsr going 170 km/h with giannelli. Sprockets are 14/36 and model is silver/black -99. Cool

I changed to 140 mainjet after I fitted the Arrow-exhaustsystem, and the bike startet to use A LOT more to-stroke oil. So I changed back to 135 mainjet, and didn`t notise any loss of power. That were 4 months ago... Confused Bike still working Very Happy

(Gianelli suge jo driden. Det får NSRen til å hørre ut som en blod-trimmet TS... Arrow en jo bare best)

I did see a race NSR for sale - ummmmm, it was properly race tuned - a track bike, but up for breaking - so theoretically i could have put the 130mph engine in my old (91) NSR.... HOWEVER, this was also bored out.... so ummm, whether it counts or not I don't really know!!

Ah, well, the joys of having a 400!!! Razz

Vet du om noen norske diskusjonsider ala racingpower.net som ble nedlagt for lenge siden? Nei, det er nesten ingenting forskjell på ARROW å GIANNELI, helst bare utsende...
