Thin metal flexible wrap?

Need help please!

I'm after some thin flexible metal wrap to go around my silencer, similar to the gungum "flexiwrap", but without the built in jubilee clip. Ideally about 10cm wide and a reasonable length.

I've tried google, but nothing has come up (most probably because I'm crap at the internetz). Anybody know where to look for such things?

Not really... It has to be a sheet of metal. It's not so much to act as a sealant/wrap... More an anchor point for a rogue pop rivet, hence it needing to be metal.

How about some 0.5mm steel? Bends very easily by hand and loves rivets.

Temeluchus, there isn't anywhere like that near me that I can get to, and couldn't find any online.

Nexus, a beer can just isn't long enough to get all the way around a silencer.

SoND, 0.5mm steel sounds perfect. Don't mean to be lazy, but where might one find a piece of 0.5mm steel 100mm x 500mm?

to be fair you would be able to get away with 0.9mm, and you could find some at a fabricators or sheet metal workers

Yeah, just go to a fabricators and say can you have a sheet of steel from the skip, they are bound to have something thin and scrap in there
