Blocked carb, or duff plug.

As Ham says, check the sparks and swap the suspect plug. If not, Hornet carbs are a doddle to split and clean properly Wink

Send me your email address if you haven't got the workshop manual and I'll fire one over Wink

It was the same with the old plugs in they had only done less than a 1000miles but with standing over last winter and running it up every few months i thought it may have fouled then up, but they looked perfect but i had already got new one's so i've put them in. so i will pull the carbs tonight after work hopefully, thanks for the advice i will report how i get on. thanks

Hi, just pulled carbs off removed #1 pilot and it looks clean i could see light through it ? soaked it in some carb cleaner and blew it out with the airline and the jet inner did seem larger after.
when the fuel goes through this pilot jet does it come out the small hole on the engine side of the butterfly is this right?
Can i spray carb cleaner in the place where the pilot screws in and blow with the airline?
Because i can see this jet was not completely blocked could this still cause my rough idle?
thanks

Carbs cleaned and back on but still not smooth on tick over sound like it intermittently runs on 3 maybe slightly better, Have not checked plugs yet but they are brand new NGK irdiums,
is there any thing else to check? i've just rebalanced the carbs.
