Here she is:

Apparently you can only get this model in this colour in Japan.

Could anyone give me any pointers of how I could acquire one?

I was thinking:-

1) I go to Japan, buy one and ship it back. How on earth do I register it though!

2) There is another method for me to grey import one?

Why not just buy one in the UK and get it painted/powdercoated by a professional paint shop?

I thought you meant phones, did slightly wonder why it was in the bike section though! I had one of those phones, but it got broken when I dropped it in a jug of vodka mix Laughing

I'm after the shaft driven cams, which sorry to say the Bonnie doesn't have, love the old ones, don't like the look of the new ones.

Because it would never be the same thing and still cost me 5 grand to buy the bike.

Does look pretty sweet doesn't it. The green was georgeous too, but the black has it's number I reckon. Excellent bike too btw. Saw it reviewed recently in a magazine retro bike shootout, involving the W800, Scrambler,MG V7 Classic, HD48, XJR1300 and a CB1100, and it took the top honours for all round ability and ease of maintainance.

Well I like it...and if I was a little bit shorter legged, I'd be considering one now instead of something else. Thumbs Up

Any chance you could give me some good examples?

Most of the sites I've found its probably better I fly to Japan, export and back for the money.

Google is not my friend.

While I do prefer British bikes of the past, I find anything Triumph has produced recently fugly even though I would prefer to fly the Triumph mark.

If they sorted out the fuel tank and exhausts may look better. Engine wise shaft driven cam please.
