Looks nice
Only thing I dont like is the clocks... either do away and fit smaller LCD one.. or as HT said, a small screen of some description. |

NOT THIS, that's for certain.
Whilst it certainly makes a nice looking rat fighter, it is by no means a street fighter, just a nekkid Viffer.
If I were to define a street fighter I'd put it like this;
An modified or custom built motorcycle, aggressively styled with posing, and or stunting or drag racing in mind.
Derived from cafe racers, usual traits include removal of side fairing panels, nose cones and the fitting of retro or funky styled headlights.. Adapted subframes with alternative or custom made seat units, flat or motocross bars for comfort and improved wheelie control.
Street fighters often have lightweight or stubby exhaust cans, or even more outrageous custom jobbies, and sometimes tack like Tail Gunner exhausts.
Other common traits include custom paint jobs, where airbrushed tanks are commonplace and one off parts such as custom built frames, billet wheels etc.

Nice love the exhaust detail however the seats have always looked disgusting like that and out of place to me to be honest. They just seem like they were added on in a rush in my opinion. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Mine has pretty much most of what you listed bud. Its not just a naked viffer, theres been a fair whack done to it ie; handlebar risers, custom paint job, custom undertray, exhaust.. dont see why people are getting hung up because i called it a streetfighter. Fuck, sorry! |

No offence meant Eddie, but the problem is that many people crash their bike and decide to do the same common mods, and suddenly it's a street fighter... Well er no.
Handlebar risers, under tray taken off of something else, slip on exhaust... Nothing new, nice mods but not terribly exciting to be honest.
Custom paint? It's been painted black, I was leaning more towards one off schemes, or like I said, incorporation of airbrushing, not vital though.
I've done a fair whack of modifications to my RVF, that's also nekkid until I find some fairings, I have a billet top yoke but I'm not dubbing it a street fighter.
I've seen allot of genuine street fighters, rat fighters, general rats, choppers, bobbers, cafe racers and the odd street tracker.. I've seen these bikes being built and the ingenuity and effort that goes in as such.. I'm doing it myself with my CD200.
So it's out of respect as such, that I'm saying to you; Nice bike, but you'll have to put in a bit more effort than that if you want a street fighter. |
