I had a 2004 model which had done 5500 miles, but I'm afraid I wrote it off...

There certainly aren't many about, and I'm hoping this will work in my favour when the insurance company comes to settle...

An awesome looking naked bike but why has it only got one front brake? Surely it needs two?

Because it's twice as big?

'Technically', like a lot of Buell's solutions the rim brake makes a lot of sense - not only should you only need one, but the spokes can be made weaker in that aspect as they don't have to transfer the forces capable of slowing a bike from 60-0 in 3 seconds.
Of course, the disc it's self is a good chunk wider; not sure on the relative gyro effects between that and a normal wheel.

I would love one but they are made for Ewoks, Oompha Lumphas, and Marjays. I rode one and it was Okay just too damn small.

Yes.

The cranks are known to fail on 2004-2006 models. 2006 onwards models have a lot less power due to restrictive exhausts. The spark plugs can't be changed without either cross threading them, or dropping the engine. If you tilt the engine forwards without disconnecting the wiring loom, you'll break the loom. The finish is awful and if you drop the bike you'll probably write it off because the frame is very delicate and is the fuel tank.

On my bike the piston rings hadn't been heat treated correctly before installation which meant it burned oil like crazy. I had to have the entire motor stripped down and rebuilt to make it work properly.

The engine fasteners are all imperial, and the frame metric...

Apart from that, they are good bikes!

In the same way that apart from the physical violence, the humiliation, the bleeding orifices, the psychological trauma and the risk of AIDS a gangraping is all right?
